What is the Masuda Method for shiny hunting?
The Masuda Method involves breeding two Pokemon originating from games with different real-world languages (for example, an English Charizard and a Japanese Ditto). Doing this dramatically increases the shiny hatch rate from the base 1/4096 to 1/683. Our tool includes a simple toggle to calculate these exact shiny odds instantly.
